The Parrsboro and District Board of Trade
What is the Parrsboro and District Board of Trade?
The Parrsboro and District Board of Trade includes both businesses and individual members who are dedicated to the goal of economic opportunity and prosperity for our area.

We provide occasions for our members to meet and exchange ideas, as well as to learn about issues of concern to our region. We have a monthly series of luncheon meetings with guest speaker, which are open to anyone who would like to attend.

The Board of Trade is a non-profit organization and is run by volunteers selected from the membership. The Parrsboro and District Board of Trade is a member of the Nova Scotia Chambers of Commerce and the Atlantic Provinces Chamber of Commerce, which makes available benefits such as a group insurance plan and merchant VISA and MasterCard accounts.

New Members are always welcome to join us. Please call Lisa Ward if you are interested in becoming a member or if you have any questions.

The Parrsboro and District Board of Trade promotes and improves trade and commerce, to future the civil and social business interests of the communities to coordinate all concerned groups, parties, etc. presently acting individuals, under one corporate body.

The district includes - west to and including Village of Apple River, north to and including Southampton, east to and including Bass River and south to Minas Basin.
